I watched some silly friends graduate, and then later that night I had a concert.
Blind Pilot opened for The Decemberists.
Quite lovely. I was extremely disappointed I didn't have a camera to take pictures... I was right in the front.
Blind Pilot's lead was adorable, and I pretty much fell in love with the drummer and bassist. They were really good. I enjoyed them.
The Decemberists were absolutely epic and wonderful. I feel deeply and madly in love with Colin Meloy. He was so amazing. Best voice and hair ever. It's a shame he's 34 and married with a kid. Haha. I wish I was kidding. He was prettty. I mean, look at him:

Other than that, they are spectacular live. Spec spec spectacular.
He played right over Raini and I for a bit, and he took his guitar off and let the crowd touch it. It raped that thing with my hands, man. It felt as lovely as it sounded... Haha. I am also proud to say I had a bit eye contact with Mr. Meloy, and my brain kinda melted and died. It was AWESOME.
Then for their encore they decided they would do a Lewis and Clark reenactment. It was pretty much awesome. A couple of the band members went around and got into the audience. Most didn't really notice them there until they started banging on the drums. I enjoyed it... Oh maaan.

Oh, yes, and I bought their shirt, which was overpriced but worth it:
